Frito-LayVille!!! As my collection of Frito-Lay material grows I wanted to find a way to share it with others so they too can enjoy a little taste of the history behind Frito-Lay. So here it is my Frito-Lay Collection online. The story behind the Frito-Lay company is definitely a story of how the Great American Dream came true for the two men who founder the Frito company (Elmer Doolin) and the H.W. Lay Company (Herman Lay), later to join and become Frito-Lay. From its meager beginnings during the great depression to becoming the worlds leading salty snack food company, advertising has always been a part in bringing the Frito-Lay brands into the homes of consumers. That's what you will see on this site a little history in Advertising. This site has only a small part of my collection but I am working daily to add more of it so check back often to see what's new.
